We've run across similar issues to this, and some of them ended up being because of secured services vs encrypted services vs unsecured and unencrypted services.  The best thing I've found is to make everything the same in a test environment to determine the root cause, i.e. I stood up Geocortex essentials manager using http instead of https and made sure all my services were unsecured and set to http as well.  The Portal login will (almost) always end up being https, but that doesn't seem to affect too much.  Matthew St. John might have a better answer for you.

            Hi Mitika,

Unfortunately a 503 error on its own doesn't tell us much, but Neil's recommendation of simplifying the configuration as much as possible is a good place to start. If you're continuing to see this message when opening the viewer please log a case with us in support at GIS Support.

                  Hi Mitika,

Yes it does. You'll need to have a feature service setup for that instead of a map service, and of note is that feature services do not support joins. ArcGIS for Server 10.4.1 does not currently support FM2.0 joins, so you may already have these removed, but if you're currently on something older or will be on 10.5 instead, you may want to have a map service for the FM2.0 joins and a features service for editing.
