In that SD I would check all your data sources for the layers and verify they are all pulling from the same place, same database connection. We have seen this when some layers have been remapped to differing connections or versions / sessions. If this is not an issue you could have a corrupt SD, there are a few ways to fix this and feel free to give me a call and I can tell you one way we fix the SD and save a new, preserving the symbology, etc.
Hope this helps,
Hi Ryan, Many thanks for your reply.
All layers point to ” UCNSB.DBO.ElectricDataset” in production GISDB, so I think we probably have a corrupted SD going on…
I'd guess that the issue might be related to having multiple geometric network features in that particular stored display.
Try adding the "Utility Network Analyst" toolbar. On that toolbar, see which geometric network is selected as "active." In order for the electric traces toolbar to become active, your electric network needs to be "active" and selected in that drop down.
Let me know if that fixes things for you.
Hi Sam, You’re right on! There were 2 geo networks in that display – Electric & Wastewater (which was set as active).
After resetting, the traces are working again.
