    developer subscription

    Graham Keen

We have a current ArcFM developer subscription for R & D into version 10.2 desktop and server (we currently still use 9.3.1 in our production system) but we'd like to explore ArcFM Web as a system to replace a legacy Web viewer technology. We've downloaded and installed ArcFM Web and we are very impressed with it. However, in order to build a business case to sell the system to our executive, we need more time that the standard trial period provides. Are we entitled to get 12 months access for R & D purposes under our current ArcFM developer subscription?

Hey Graham, check with Philip Dodds and your Esri Australia rep to find out about this.  I believe ArcFM Web is included in the ADP, but please double check with them.

Esri Australia Emailed last week to confirm that ArcFM Web is not part of the ADP licensing.

We downloaded a trial version which runs for 60 days but this is due to expire in a few days time. We need a bit longer in order to trial the software fully and build a business case for our executive.

We tried uninstalling the trial and installing it again using a fresh download, but the timer set previously remains in place.

In the absence of any developer licensing option, is it possible to lease the software for a limited period before we commit to buying?
