In the process administrator tool,
1. Uncheck Session Administrator Controls all users and all roles.
2. Uncheck Session Approval Officer "is to apply to users you want to approve sessions created by other session editors.
3. Check Session Editor
When Items 1 and 2 are checked each user has the authority to submit themselves their own sessions and then process them into the database.
If your using the sample workflow that comes with Session Manager the above steps should work great!
Thanks James Stout
If you have configured a custom workflow you may need to do some other steps; however regardless this scenario is certainly possible!
Let us know if you have any issues.
Hi James and James,
thanks for that, I think I worked it out.
Let me know if I've stuffed up here, but from what I can see, disabling it just for Session Editors will allow the Session Administrators and Session Approval Officers to review, reconcile and post?
I think the penny just dropped on how Node Types actually works.
Using Cory's method of disabling the Post Session for just the Session Editors worked for us- thank you very much!
