These things can be complicated for sure. Your filter(s) are likely querying tables in the PROCESS schema. Before digging into the code it may be worthwhile to have a DBA take a look at the PROCESS schema tables (like MM_WMS_WORK_REQUEST, MM_WMS_DESIGN, etc.) to see if these can be tuned or performance improved by adding indexes.

Thanks for the suggestions Ed. I’m pretty sure we have indexes on those tables but I’ll check. Right now I’m working on simplifying the code to see if that improves performance as well.
Sure. Just curious. The PX filter thing has two parts, the filter part
and the build part. The filter usually does a query on the
MM_WMS_WORK_REQUEST table or a combination of this table and another custom
table. Then the build part assembles the D8List shown in the PX tree
view. Is the slow part in the filter process or build process?
