For a SAGE 2400, you must add a C3831 PC/104 IRIG-B Card and use coaxial cable to provide the IRIG-B signal to the relays from the SAGE 2400 RTU. There is additional information about the card in the SAGE 2400 Operation & Maintenance Manual in the Documentation, Operations and Maintenance section of the SAGE web page on this site.
This is a great topic because it would be useful to send RTU IREG-B to SEL-2030 communication processors.
The Trimble GPS receivers in our Sage 2400's look like the C3461 pictured on page 5-5 in the manual. These units have only one coax connector for the antenna. I could not find the C3831 in the SAGE 2X00 Operation & Maintenance Manual S2X00-AAA-00001 V0.0. Where can I find more information on the C3831?
I had Kris Dow check to make sure that the data on the C3831 is in the SAGE 2X00 Operation & Maintenance Manual S2X00-AAA-00001 V0.0 that is posted on this web site, and he found the information by searching for "C3831". If you search for "IRIG", you will find how to configure the RTU to use the C3831 as an IRIG-B output.
Thank you for your help.
