    Using Orbit for an Initial Site Survey for Construction Design

      Wondering if anyone has considered use of Orbit in a construction design work flow that would be generally like this:

      1. Work Request is initiated in the office with an indication that an initial site inspection is required.
      2. A task is created in the Orbit Task framework for a designer.
      3. She takes her mobile device to the field, opens the task and makes rough graphic sketch noting existing equipment, measurements, potential new equipment locations, other notations for trees or obstructions and general notes.
      4. Back in the office the designer opens her Designer design, incorporates graphics from the Orbit mobile session into here design and uses this as a starting place for a compatible unit based design session.


      Potentially viable? Or am I talking nonsense?


      Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
