Change Geocoding Services in ArcFM for Silverlight 2.4 before 12/31/2013

ATTENTION - ArcFM for Silverlight 2.4 Administrators

Some of the Address Search functionality we added at ArcFM for Silverlight 2.4 depends on an Esri geocoding service that will be retired by the end of this year.  If you are using this functionality, we recommend you make the following changes before December 31, 2013:

      1. Browse to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ArcFM\Silverlight\ArcFMSilverlight.Web\ClientBin\UserConfiguration
      2. Open Page.config with any text editing application (e.g., Notepad).
      3. Look for XML similar to: <AddressSearch Title="US Address Locate" Description="Searches US Address" Url="http://tasks.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Locators/TA_Streets_US_10/GeocodeServer" Fields="Single Line Input" AddressScore="50" />
      4. Modify the URL to equal http://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/GeocodeServer  This is the URL for the ArcGIS Online world address search.
Note: The Fields value should remain as "Single Line Input". You can change the other values to reflect the world address search as opposed to US only.
      5. Save Page.config.

Making this change also allows you to search by points of interest, city names, landmarks, and so on within the search field (such as coffee shops, Eiffel Tower, restaurant, etc.).
