ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS

    Using the ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS, you can view, assign, and complete redlines that have been submitted via the ArcFM Mobile for Windows application.

     

    Installing ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS:

    The installer will create an ArcFM folder in your ArcGIS/{current version}/bin directory, if one doesn't already exist, and add necessary files.

    1. Click the link at the bottom of this page to download the ArcFMRedliningToolsForArcGIS installer.
    2. Close any ArcGIS software processes that may be running.
    3. Double-click the downloaded .msi file to begin installation.
    4. Click Run if the Open File - Security Warning window opens.
    5. Click Next.
    6. Change the destination folder if desired, then click Next.
    7. Click Install.
    8. Click Yes if the User Account Control window opens.
    9. Click Finish.

     

    Upgrading ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS:

    There is no "upgrade" option for the ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS.  To upgrade to a newer version of the ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS, simply uninstall the previous version and install the newer version.  There is no configuration that needs to be saved before doing so.

     

    Uninstalling ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS:

    1. Using Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features, select ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS 1.x.x.
    2. Choose Uninstall and follow the prompts to remove ArcFM Redlining Tools for ArcGIS.
