The link embedded within the invitation email does not work as expected.
- The email address, as specified in the invitation, did not have the correct case sensitivity.
- The Outlook account does not have a correct account name assigned.
- The Outlook account does not have the correct email configured in MS Live.
1. Verify the exact case-sensitivity of the invited email address and resend it accordingly.
2. Try opening the invitation link in "Incognito Mode" for Chrome or "InPrivate" for IE to make sure no other login's are interfering.
3. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/ and verify the account name has an appropriate value by logging in.
4. Go to https://profile.live.com/.
- Navigate to Profile under My Profiles > Edit Contact Information > Personal email and select your email address.
