Versions: 10.2.1a - current
Product Availability: Responder
Out of the box, Responder tests connections to your Responder and GIS databases as well as ensures all Responder services are communicating effectively. This sample project lets you ensure that Responder has working connections to any additional integrations (e.g., IVR, SCADA). Use the CustomConnectionTest.cs class to set up the connections you wish to test.
The EventLogger.cs class allows you to send out a notification indicating the status of a connection test. For example, if a connection test fails you can have a message sent to Twitter.
How to Implement:
- Open CustomConnectionTest.csproj and connect any broken references.
- Modify the sample to designate the connection(s) you wish to test and set up any notifications.
- Build the solution.
All of the files shown below are required for the project to compile successfully.
|CustomConnectionTest.csproj||C# project containing the code to test a connection.|
|CustomConnectionTest.cs||Use this module to test whether Responder has a working connection to a particular system or service.|
