Load Flow Calculations are an important Smart Grid stepping stone due to their powerful ability to turn basic grid data (grid topology, SCADA measurements, etc.) into detailed insight in how the grid is loaded. Load Flow Calculations are a corner stone behind the advanced decision support available in modern ADMS solutions. However, Continuous Load Flow Calculations also have great potential in supporting advanced grid planning. This session discusses drivers and methods for utilizing Continuous Load Flow Calculations for grid planning as well as how this fits very well with the Schneider Electric ADMS solution.
