    Cause

You may get this error if a Fiber feature class or object class field has an alias name with a space included.
In releases prior to 10.1.1, Fiber Manager does not support spaces in alias names. As of 10.1.1, alias names with spaces are supported.

You may also receive this error if the FIBERCONNECTIONDISPLAYSORTFIELD model name has not been assigned to a field in the table that is mentioned in the error.

    Solution

Ensure that spaces are removed from the alias names of all fiber objects including feature classes and related tables.

Make sure that the FIBERCONNECTIONDISPLAYSORTFIELD model name is assigned to a field within the fiber table that is mentioned in the error.
