    Edit tasks support user interaction when placing a feature. You can build edit tasks to customize the way users interact with ArcMap when adding features. Access edit tasksTask field on Esri's Editor toolbar. You may need to add this field using the Customize menu. This field is enabled only if you have an edit session started.

    How to Implement:

    AngleSetter.csThe ArcFM Manual Angle Setter edit task allows a user to manually set the rotation of a point feature using ArcMap sketch tools. When properly registered, this edit task appears in the Task drop-down menu: ArcFM Manual Angle Setter (.NET).
    DotToDot.cs

    The Dot to Dot edit task allows the user to define a single feature by defining its coordinates based on a number of anchor lines. This edit task is available only in Designer. When properly registered, this edit task appears in the Task drop-down menu: ArcFM Dot To Dot (.NET).

    LinearPoint.cs

    The Linear Point edit task inserts a point feature at the last point of the line edit sketch. Allows ArcMap sketch construction tools (angle, distance, etc.) to be used to place new point feature. When properly registered, this edit task appears in the Task drop-down menu: ArcFM Linear Point (.NET).

    RadialEditTask.cs

    The Radial edit task is used with the Template Tool to connect spans (secondary overhead conductor, for example) from the start point (transformer) to several end points (service points) when the user sketches a single line. When properly registered, this edit task appears in the Task drop-down menu: ArcFM Radial Edit (.NET).
