What do the different numbers mean in the STATUS column of the MM_PX_VERSIONS table, and how are they used by the ArcFM Orphaned Versions Cleanup Tool?
The STATUS column in the MM_PX_VERSIONS table indicates the ability to delete a version. It may contain the following values:
0 = No version exists (associated with a design or session)
1 = Version exists
2 = Posted (not frequently used)
4 = Able to be deleted
5 = Delete Version only (used in Designer Express, deletes the version without deleting any of the other data associated with the Express design)
The ArcFM Orphaned Versions Cleanup Tool looks for all rows with a status of 4 or 5 and deletes them. However, if a version has become orphaned without this status of 4 being set, there are problems elsewhere in the session/design deletion process, and the ArcFM Orphaned Versions Cleanup Tool will not remove the version.
