The following error or something similar may occur when running the Responder upgrade scripts on a new SQL database schema.
Adding field [ADDRESS] to table [RX_INCIDENTS]...
Msg 4902, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Cannot find the object "RX_INCIDENTS" because it does not exist or you do not have permissions.
One or more statement failed, rolling back all changes!.
The issue is caused by the ownership of the schema. The Responder user must have full rights to the new schema and all scripts need to run under the Responder user for the active schema. They will need to be re-linked to the user when the database has moved.
You can use a simple select query to test if the Responder user has the correct schema assignment to run the upgrade scripts.
Once the changes are made to the database, you will want to close the SQL Studio Manager application and restart it to allow it to clear all the cache. It can hold previous settings that will prevent it from running the scripts after making the necessary changes.
