Messages regarding Miner.ApplicationMetrics involve the ArcFM Customer Experience Feedback option. This feature provides generic use metrics to Schneider Electric. Errors for this feature typically occur when traffic is stopped by a network or software firewall, proxy, anti-virus, etc.
Errors regarding this feature indicate a failure to send anonymous data to Schneider Electric, but do not usually imply that there is a functional problem with ArcFM.
To resolve this issue:
- Allow traffic to flow from ArcFM to external servers.
- Disable the ArcFM Customer Experience Feedback option. Open the ArcFM Desktop Administrator > Software Product tab and uncheck the box for Customer Experience Feedback.
- Do not include this feature when installing ArcFM. Upon install, the user is presented with the following window in which this feature can be unchecked:
