Sometimes you want to wipe out a configuration and start with a clean slate ie. a virgin configuration. There have been cases where a user got burned by using a configuration that wasn't blank as a starting point and failing to notice that some other function was already configured in a way that was ultimately undesirable. (For example: an RLL program or other application running) The best way to do this is to use the Configuration files that are part of the Zip file for the RTU Firmware Upgrades (goto the Download section on this site). Then, not only are you assured that you are starting with a clean slate but you have upgraded to the most current firmware version available with all the features and functions that are included!
