Release 1.6 of Orbit Mobile for Windows and iPad is now available!  This is primarily a performance and stability release.  Here are a few highlights since last month's Release 1.5:

• Significantly reduced the time it takes to initially load as well as refresh the task list.  Also, the load and refresh times are now more consistent.
• Scrolling within the iPad app is now more responsive.
• With the iPad app, you can now perform a double-tap to identify features on the map.

Note: Release 1.6 of the Orbit Mobile for Windows was patched on 10/03/2014 with performance enhancements and bug fixes.

Release 1.5 of Orbit Mobile for Windows and iPad is now available!  We've added a few new features since last month's Release 1.4:

• Find a street address, intersection, or point of interest via ArcGIS Online service
• Option to auto-zoom to selection in the Windows app
• Improved selection and zooming behavior
• Support for hyperlinks within task properties and feature attributes
• Enhancements to the list section of the Windows app

I am pleased to announce Release 1.4 of ArcFM Mobile Mobile for Windows and iPad!  We've added a number of new features while maintaining cross-platform parity between the Windows and iPad versions of the app.

Here are some of the improvements we've made:

• Ability to search and identify features in ArcGIS for Server map services
• During ad-hoc task creation, feature attributes are copied from ArcGIS for Server into the new task’s properties if the field names are the same
• Also, default field values configured in Orbit Portal are copied into the new task’s properties
• Store latitude and longitude (referenced to WGS 84) for tasks created on features
• Additional task filtering:  Task Type and Today
• Provide status for tile packages that are downloading in the background
• Improved support for a variety of Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) configurations
• Alignment with iOS 7 look and functionality
